I interviewed four realtors who had exceptional records, top 10% as measured by sales volume, in Bethesda-Chevy Chase. I selected Dana Rice because she had a great sales record (high volume with closing prices close to and often above the asking prices), knew our market, was hard-working, a great people person which in my case was very important because of multiple personalities involved in our Estate, and could provide staging through her and her sister’s staging company at little or no cost if we went that route. Since we were absentee owners we were very concerned about how we do things like hiring contractors to make improvements such as painting and repairs. Dana told us not to worry she had a book full of such people and she would take care of it. She was even willing to pay these people and be reimbursed later at the closing! This was almost too good to be true. She handled the sales process beautifully, showing it to a handful of brokers to get initial feedback. This set our pricing and sales strategy and ultimately we received several excellent offers over the next two weeks with no staging or repairs. Dana’s team made the contractual paperwork work a breeze. I never found one mistake or typo in any document so I decided not to hire a lawyer or even to fly up for the closing. Going into the final week we had a few glitches initiated by the buyers and this is where I saw Dana’s problem solving skills in action. There was nothing that could throw this professional off her game. I have bought and sold many houses in my lifetime but I have never worked with a realtor of Dana’s caliber. We cannot recommend Dana Rice highly enough as a realtor. We worked with her as both buyer and seller, and she and her team helped us through every step of the way. When my wife and I were looking at prospective houses to buy, Dana walked through houses and livestreamed video, toured houses for us, or met as at dozens of houses (sometimes with a small child in tow!).
